NOPGA Welcomes Brooke Morgan to Staff

The Northern Ohio PGA would like to formally welcome our first PGA WORKS Fellow, Brooke Morgan. Brooke is a 2017 graduate of Walsh University, where she earned Bachelors of Arts in both graphic design and corporate communications.

Leading up to her NOPGA Fellowship, Brooke directly worked with a diversity trailblazer, PGA of America Hall of Famer, Dr. Renee Powell. At Dr. Powell’s course, Clearview Golf Club, Brooke was communications coordinator, worked in the pro shop, and helped provide golf instruction to youth and HOPE participants. She also coordinated events and was responsible for social media publishing.

In her fellowship role, Brooke will be supporting the Northern Ohio PGA Section Foundation; PGA HOPE program; NOPGA junior golf programs; Drive, Chip, Putt championship; and PGA Jr. League Golf.

Brook is a native of Akron, Ohio, and quite the athlete. In high school, she earned 13 varsity letters in golf, basketball, track and cross country. In college, she was captain of the woman’s golf team and basketball team.

Brooke believes, “It is essential to the game and history of golf to incorporate diversity and inclusion. Through this, we learn compassion, empathy, and understanding of cultures and experiences different than our own.”
