Just Announced: AJGA PBE STARS FOR 36-HOLE SERIES
The Northern Ohio PGA is excited to announce the addition of AJGA PBE STARS to our 36-Hole Series events! The 18-hole Junior series will still remain single 18-Hole events with the exceptions of our Major Invitational events (Section Championship & Tour Championship). The 36-Hole events are for our Juniors to earn National Recognition while still being able to remain in Northern Ohio.
The 36-Hole events were originally created for Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS) where we are able to combine two separate 18-hole events in order to create a 36-hole series that is submitted to JGS to give rankings to those who participated in the series.
We now have at least one age division per event that the lowest scorer of the 36-Hole series will earn at least one PBE Star (Scroll down below to view series PBE Stars).
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU MUST PLAY IN BOTH 18-HOLE EVENTS WITHIN THE SERIES TO HAVE A CHANCE TO EARN JGS RANKING AND THE AJGA PBE STARS.

Please note that field sizes have an influence on the number of stars for the event. If the field size is too low for the 36-Hole events it may effect the earning of stars for the events in future seasons.
YOU MUST PLAY IN BOTH 18-HOLE EVENTS OF THE SERIES TO HAVE A CHANCE TO EARN STARS. THE LOW SCORER OF THE 36-HOLES EARNS THE STARS AND WINNING ONE OF THE 18-HOLE EVENTS DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN YOU EARNED THE PBE STAR(S).
