Northern Ohio PGA crowned its 2018 Denny Shute Memorial Match Play Champions on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Portage Country Club. Denny Shute won 3 Major Championships in the 1930’s. Shute was the Golf Professional at Portage Country Club from 1945-1972. The Northern Ohio PGA honors his memory by hosting our last major of the year at Portage Country Club.
