* New This Year – The Kenny Novak 36 Hole Series

New this year, The Northern Ohio PGA will be combining single day events into 36 hole contests, making the contest eligible for Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings.

 

With the Junior Golf world becoming so competitive, Juniors are looking for a way to compete at the National level.  The Northern Ohio PGA Junior Tours are now giving you that opportunity, and you do not have to drive across the country to do so.

New this year, we will be combining single day events into 36 hole contests, making the contest eligible for Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings.

We will be combining different events to make five, Kenny Novak 36 Hole events.

The Kenny Novak 36 Hole Series will be at no additional charge.

The events will still be ten 18 hole contests, but those who sign up for one of the combination of two 18 hole events listed below, will have their scores entered into the 36 hole contest for Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings.

The five Kenny Novak 36 Hole Series combination events are,

North-Tanglewood Chargin Falls (Friday June 22) and Grantwood Solon (Wednesday July 11)

East-Mill Creek Boardman (Saturday June 2) and Manakiki Willoughby (Thursday July 12)

South-River Greens W. Layfayette (Monday June 11) and Willandale Sugar Creek (Monday July 9)

West-Sweet Briar Avon Lake (Tuesday June 12) and Big Met Fairview Park (Thursday July 5)

Central– Barberton Brookside (Monday July 2) and Rosemont Akron (Thursday July 19)

The winner of each Kenny Novak 36 Hole Series combination event (and ties) will automatically qualify for the Kenny Novak Championship at Club Walden.

Kenny Novak 36 Hole Series with 40 or more boys and or 12 or more girls in each division will receive Performance Stars in their respective division for the AJGA.
