Just weeks after earning his PGA Membership and becoming eligible for the event, Michael Balcar, PGA, is a Section Champion! 🏆
The Brandywine Country Club Assistant Professional fired rounds of 67-68-65 to finish at 16-under par, capturing the 76th Northern Ohio PGA Professional Championship by seven strokes over runner-up Jim Troy, PGA.
What a way to earn your first Section Championship. Congratulations, Michael! 👏

✂️ THE CUT IS MADE!
The field is set for the final round of the 76th Northern Ohio PGA Professional Championship at Tippecanoe Country Club!
Michael Balcar leads the way at 9-under (135) after rounds of 67-68, holding a five-shot advantage over Jim Troy at 4-under (140).
Randy Dietz, Sean Kenily, Anthony Panepento and Jordan Schroeder are tied for third at 1-under (143).
The top 29 and ties made the cut and will return tomorrow for the final 18 holes as we crown our 2026 champion and determine the four qualifiers for the 2027 PGA Professional Championship at Streamsong Resort.
