WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH – The Northern Ohio Section of the Professional Golfers Association (NOPGA) proudly announces its 10 PGA Professional award winners for the 2026 season. These distinguished professionals will be honored during the section awards dinner on December 6th at the Cary Blair Center, adjacent to Westfield Country Club.The winners, selected by the NOPGA Awards Committee, exemplify excellence and dedication within the golfing community. The evening will also include special recognition for the 2026 Hall of Fame inductee.

Golf Professional of the Year: Milton Carswell, Jr., PGA, Head Professional at Stone Oak Country Club
Teacher & Coach of the Year: Todd Casabella, PGA, Director of Instruction at Barrington Golf Club
Assistant Professional of the Year: Weston Lucas, PGA, Assistant Professional at Kirtland Country Club
Bill Strausbaugh Award: Mark Bixler, PGA, Head Professional at Kirtland Country Club
Merchandiser of the Year (Private): Dale Davis, PGA, Director of Golf at Firestone Country Club
Merchandiser of the Year (Public): Trent Maxwell, PGA, General Manager at Windmill Golf Center
Patriot Award: Barry Friedman, PGA, Director of Golf at Valley of the Eagles Golf Course
Player Development Award: Meghann Glass-Stem, PGA, Head Professional at Glenmoor Country Club
Youth Player Development Award: Randy Dietz, PGA, Director of Instruction at Windmill Golf Center
Professional Development Award: Tim Perin, PGA, Director of Golf at Lakewood Country Club
The Northern Ohio PGA Awards Dinner will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2026 at Westfield Country Club’s Blair Center.The evening will include cocktails, dinner, and the presentation of awards as we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our fellow members and associates within the Northern Ohio PGA community. The event will once again be moderated by Jimmy Hanlin, PGA, who will engage award winners on stage as they share their career stories and insights.
